In this Report Builder tutorial, you’ll learn how to add a table in a paginated report. Other Microsoft products, such as Excel and Word, require you to input data in each cell in a table.

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to format data in your paginated reports in Report Builder. Report Builder is a Microsoft product that allows you to create paginated reports. A paginated report allows you to create a printable report from a Power BI data set.

After getting the data into the Report Builder, the next step is transforming these into a report. In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to create a paginated report. Specifically, you’ll learn how to add texts and images and then export your report into various document formats.

In this tutorial, you’ll learn about the different objects you can place in your paginated report and how to format them using Report Builder in Power BI. A paginated report is a report that’s designed to be printed or shared. And as the name suggests, they’re called “paginated” because they’re made to fit well on a page.

Here I explain that the aim of my presentation is to share an example of how using Excel helps for data validation and now how as Excel users we would be able to consume data held within Power BI and collaborate with a BI team with your Excel expertise.

In this video, I join Brian to officially rollout this new course and talk about what you can expect out of it, how to make the most out of it, and the direction we’re going for this three-part course.

On Connect Live I stream live with The Power BI Guy.

Understanding key data structure concepts is critical for any modeller who wants to efficiently perform data analysis in Power BI. Watch to hear as I cover a range of key concepts.
